Gun Carry Law In Georgia

The Governor of the State Of Georgia Sonny Perdue has signed a bill in to law for gun permit owners to carry their guns in more places such as restaurants, stores and several other places that were supposedly not allowed. Funny why do we need a bill stating where we can carry a gun since the second amendment of the constitution clearly gives us that right in the first place. For that matter why do we even need a permit to carry a concealed weapon as it's clearly covered by the second amendment.

I can see it now the media will find a story about some mean old gun toting person that shoots someone in a local sports pub and they'll go on and on day after day about the new gun carry law and had the bill have not passed this horrible tragedy wouldn't have happened. What happens next the media moans for days on end about this horrible law and the next thing you know the law gets repealed.

Then imagine this because it really could happen. There is an emergency session of the General Assembly to introduce legislation to ban carrying guns anywhere. Before you know it the State bans guns completely which in my opinion is the reason this new gun carry law was introduced in the first place and most likely is a hidden agenda to pass laws they really want which is to disarm the people.

Hopefully I'm wrong and this new law had no hidden agenda and perhaps no one will get shot in the local sports bar. In that case that's finally one for the average John Q law abiding citizen.

Remember gun laws are not for the criminals because they don't follow laws anyway so you see any gun law is really for you and I the law abiding citizen. The law makers know this only too well and they are relying on our ignorance to pass more laws or whatever it takes to disarm us. It's up to you and I to educate everyone we can so that we the people are well aware of what's going on.
